As the industry leader Eden Springs has since 2007 promoted an environmental program with the objective of reducing its co2 emissions. Our way towards becoming carbon neutral started with lifecycle assessments to obtain our carbon footprint to be able to direct our efforts on the most appropriate topics.

So far we have made carbon footprint assessments in 5 of our markets and several more are planned in 2010-2012. Even though markets are different from one another we have seen several similarities in the results. Same
for all markets are that the top 2 sources of CO2 emissions are the coolers’ electricity consumption (usage phase) and transport.
