The purpose of the Eden-Unicef collaboration
UNICEF and Eden Springs joint efforts aim at expanding the existing water infrastructure in several cities in Somalia, including those inhabited by the poorest and most destitute. Plans are being made to build deep water wells and 15km of underground water pipe network and installations to provide infrastructure for 565 households. There will be water kiosks in the towns, watering points for cattle in the fields etc.
